The Piece Makers Quilt Group at the Wilkes Senior Center recently donated lap quilts to the Hematology and Oncology Infusion Clinic at Wilkes Regional Medical Center. The quilts were made and donated in memory of Janet Kilby. “We are especially thankful to Janet’s daughter, whose generous fabric donation in her mother’s honor made these gifts possible,” said a Wilkes Senior Center spokesman.
